By following the links provided, you will be able to view Foxborough Primary School's Key Stage 2 results for 2015-2016.  As you are probably aware, in 2016 pupils were assessed against a new curriculum in a new format.  Pupils sat SATs examinations in reading, maths and grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS).  Writing continues to be teacher assessed and externally moderated.

Foxborough Primary School was externally moderated for writing in May and its assessments found to be accurate.

The old levelling system has now been removed and pupils' attainment is assessed through a scaled score with a scaled score of 100 meaning that a pupil has reached the standard expected of an 11 year old.

A school's performance is judged on EITHER the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths OR on the progress that pupils have made between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in reading, writing and maths.

We are proud to announce that the progress that pupils made between KS1 and KS2 at Foxborough Primary School puts the school above the floor target set by government.

·         The expected standard or above in reading, writing and maths = 39%

·         Average progress in reading, writing and maths = Reading : -2.1, Writing : 2.0 and Maths : -1.5
